• Background-only applications (BOAs) have been added to the advanced Quit menu (shift-click on Quit's control strip icon), thus giving the user the opportunity to quit them.
• An internal bug preventing the "Exclude" and "Include" commands from working properly has been fixed. This bug came up in case of the installation of versions 1.4.x over a previous version, but had no effect in case of a clean installation.
With the installation of v1.5 preferences concerning possible excluded applications are lost.

• An internal bug which could cause the computer to freeze at startup has been fixed.
• A bug concerning the "Exclude" and "Include" commands has been fixed. These commands were not correctly displayed if the name of the current active application contained one of the metacharacters "; ^ ! < / (".

• The "Exclude" command has been added. It enables the user to specify applications which have not to be quitted by Quit CSM. This feature is particularly useful in case of applications which are launched at startup and which should be always running. The user can safely take advantage of the "Quit Others" and "Quit All" commands without quitting the excluded applications.
An excluded application can be readmitted in the Quit menu by activating it and by choosing the "Include" command.
• The advanced Quit menu (shift-click on Quit's control strip icon) has been introduced. It lists all running applications and enables the user to quit excluded applications.
• The "Quit Finder" and "Restart Finder" commands have been added. They are displayed in the advanced Quit menu (shift-click on Quit's control strip icon) and give the user the possibility of quitting and then restarting the Finder.

• The "Show Icon" option has been added: it gives the user the possibility of hiding Quit's icon, thus reducing the width of Quit's display. If the "Show Largest Unused Block" is unchecked, the "Show Icon" option is disabled and Quit's icon is always shown.
• An internal bug causing crashes when Extensions Strip or Desktop Strip are used as module host has been fixed.
• A mistake concerning Balloon Help has been corrected.

• A bug concerning the memory bar color has been fixed. This bug produced the incompatibility of Quit CSM with Desktop Strip and caused crashes with Quit CSM running under Extensions Strip.

• Quit CSM is Extensions Strip-savvy. The module is Xed off in the strip if loaded with Extensions Strip v1.5.1 or lower. Under Extensions Strip v1.5.2 or higher the Extensions Strip application is filtered out, so that the "Quit Others" and "Quit All" commands can be safely performed.
• Under Extensions Strip, Quit CSM can quit applications which do not support Apple Events (i.e. developed before the introduction of System 7.0), to. The limitation persists when Quit CSM is running under Apple Control Strip.
• A bug causing the memory bar to be incorrectly drawn on computers with video cards not supporting pixel depth 1 (i.e. b&w) has been fixed. The memory bar was drawn in plain black independently of the current monitor setting.

• Registration routines are now fully compatible with the Appearance Manager.
• The incompatibility with Netscape Navigator Standalone 4.0.4 PPC has been solved.
• A bug concerning the calculation of the largest unused memory block, which could cause configurations with more than 128 MB RAM to freeze, has been fixed.

• Quit CSM quits all processes and is no more limited to applications: modern cdevs and desk accessories are added to the Quit menu.
• Applications developed before the introduction of System 7.0 are not included in the Quit Menu, because they do not support Apple Events and cannot be quitted from Quit CSM. For the same reason Quit CSM is not able to quit other applications, when an application preceding System 7.0 is active: the Quit commands are disabled in this case.
• The command corresponding to the active application is checked.
• The "Quit Others" command is added.
• The It's Time To Register dialog box is displayed with a frequency that increases with the time elapsed from Quit CSM installation.
• A minor bug concerning the MaBaSoft Registration dialog box has been fixed.
